Candles
Each candle is one trading day. The thick part runs from the open price to the close price: green — the day closed higher than it opened, red — lower. The thin line runs from the lowest to the highest price of the day. Hover or tap a day to see all four prices.
Dividends
Orange dashed line «ex» — the ex-date: to receive the payment you must hold the shares before this day (shares bought on this day or later come without the dividend). On this day the price often drops by roughly the dividend amount. Blue dashed line «$» — the payment date. Future dates (up to 45 days) are shown on the right on a grey background.
P/E
The share price divided by the company earnings per share for the last 12 months (EPS). It shows how many years the company would need to earn its current profit to «pay back» the price: a lower P/E means the stock is cheaper relative to earnings. The line has its own scale on the left.
For some companies earnings come from their quarterly reports: on the day of a new report P/E jumps (a purple tick at the bottom of the chart), between reports it changes only with the price. For others P/E uses current earnings, so before the latest report it is approximate. If earnings are negative, P/E is not shown.
My position
Visible only to you and only if this stock is among your open portfolio positions (purchases in the same currency as the chart exchange). From each purchase date there is a dashed line at the purchase price, and between it and each day close price — an area: green if the position is in profit, red if at a loss. If you sold part, the remainder is shown: a sale writes off the earliest purchases first. The day tooltip shows how many shares were in the position and the gain or loss in money and %.
Payout yield
The blue dashed curve with its own % scale on the left: for each day — the last payment amount divided by that day close price. That is, what percentage of the share price one payment makes: the price rises — the percentage falls, and vice versa; when the company changes the payment, the curve moves to the new amount. The annual yield is roughly this percentage times the number of payments per year.
Above each «$» mark — the percentage of that payment relative to the price on the payment day (for future ones — relative to the last price, marked «≈»). Only payments in the chart exchange currency are counted.
